Refinishing existing cabinetry costs a fraction of replacement and, done properly, is indistinguishable from new. Done improperly, brushed latex over unprepared thermofoil, it peels within a year. The difference is entirely in preparation, product selection, and spray application.
Why Sprayed and Catalyzed
Brushed wall paint on cabinets shows every stroke and never cures hard enough for daily handling. A sprayed catalyzed enamel levels flat and cures to a furniture-grade hardness that survives fingernails, cleaners, and grease.
Preparation Is the Whole Job
Kitchen cabinets carry years of cooking residue that defeats adhesion. Every surface is degreased, sanded, and primed with a bonding primer before color, skip any one of those steps and the finish fails, which is why we never do.
